Samsung LN26B460
Samsung LN26B460 26-Inch 720p LCD HDTV
First I bought a Visio. I had looked at them both in the store side by side and the Visio seemed slightly brighter - wrong. I went back for the Samsung - put them both in the same place the the difference was like night and day (literally - the Visio was dark and the Samsung was bright).
The Samsung LN26B460 had a very clear picture and seemed to have better color. The other TV was all orangy. I watched a hi-def movie yesterday (A Perfect Storm) and really appreciated that film for the first time because I could see in detail what was happening.
If there was anything I would change about the Samsung - Samsung LN26B460 would be to make the sound a little better, although it was far superior to the Visio - Samsung LN26B460 still had a little way to go before it would be called decent.
